Terms of service
The agreement between you and XOGENT for use of Outlook MCP.
Last updated 11 September 2026
These terms apply when you use Outlook MCP ("the service"), operated by XOGENT ("we", "us"). By connecting a mailbox you agree to them.
What the service does
Outlook MCP connects a Microsoft 365 mailbox to an AI assistant over the Model Context Protocol, so the assistant can read, search, draft, send, and manage mail, calendar entries and contacts on your behalf, within the permissions you grant.
Your account
- You need a Microsoft 365 account you are entitled to use, and permission from whoever owns it to connect it here.
- Everyone signing in from the same Microsoft tenant joins the same organisation. The first person to sign in becomes its owner and can change what everyone else may do.
- Access keys are yours to look after. Anything done with your key is treated as done by you, so revoke a key you no longer recognise.
What your assistant does
The service carries out instructions your assistant sends. It does not review them. An AI assistant can misunderstand an instruction and send, delete or move something you did not intend, and you remain responsible for what happens in your mailbox. Give it access proportionate to that, and keep an eye on the activity log.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to send unsolicited bulk mail, to reach a mailbox you are not entitled to, to break any law that applies to you, or to attack the service or anyone else. We may suspend an organisation that does, and will tell its owners why.
Paying
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown in the portal before you commit.
- Plans carry limits on mailboxes, seats and monthly requests. Past the limit, requests are declined until the month resets or you move plan.
- Cancel whenever you like. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not pro-rate part months.
- If a payment fails we will tell you and retry. Persistent failure suspends the subscription.
Your data
Your mailbox content is yours. We claim no rights over it and do not use it to train anything. What we store and for how long is set out in Privacy. You can disconnect a mailbox or delete the organisation at any time, and deletion is immediate rather than scheduled.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running and to give notice of planned work, but we do not offer a service level guarantee on these terms. The service depends on Microsoft Graph; when Microsoft is unavailable, so are we.
Changes to the service
We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you depend on or materially reduce what your plan includes, we will email the owners of every affected organisation at least 30 days beforehand, and you may cancel for a refund of the unused part of that period.
Ending it
You may stop at any time by cancelling and deleting your organisation. We may end an account that breaches these terms, or on 30 days' notice for any other reason, refunding the unused part of any period you have paid for.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these terms
We will post any change here and update the date at the top. A change that materially affects your rights will be emailed to organisation owners before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept it.
